— Families now can enjoy a meal after hours of driving go-karts, playing miniature golf, piloting bumper boats or playing arcade games at Funtrackers, 9605 S. Padre Island Drive.

The gaming center has added the 2,700-square-foot Raceway Café, decorated in Funtrackers’ theme: the ceiling is painted black-and-white checkerboard, for example, owner Mikel McGrath said.

There also is indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the go-kart track.

The menu includes pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, funnel cakes, churros and beverages.

Though the cafe now serves alcohol, Funtrackers still has a very family atmosphere, McGrath said.

No mixed drinks will be served, he said.
